I’m Jennifer Boateng aka Ohemaa Maame-Nyarko founder of Heart of Gold Project, a mission-driven initiative movement that began in Ghana with a feeding program and small community projects serving children and people in need. My heart beats for giving kids especially to the underprivileged access to food, education, and care that helps them dream bigger and live brighter. Every project is a step toward making sure a difference is made.

A Heart-Driven Movement of kindness

Heart of Gold began with one unforgettable moment in Ghana a small child, eyes filled with hunger, approached not asking for money but for food. That encounter opened our eyes to the daily reality faced by countless children: empty stomachs, lost hope, and futures at risk.

Unable to walk away, we began with a simple Saturday feeding program. Week after week, we turned a local church into a safe haven where children could eat, learn, and feel valued. Over time, what started as a single act of kindness grew into a movement of love and opportunity.

Before traveling to schools, towns, and villages, Martha took a moment to show kindness by giving sanitary pads to women she didn’t even know. Because true impact begins with small acts of compassion.

Martha, a proud member of the H.E.A.R.T Teens Club under the Golden Impact Project, is preparing to begin an important outreach initiative focused on menstrual hygiene education for young girls across Ghana. Through visits to schools and communities in cities, towns, and villages, she aims to create safe spaces where girls can learn about menstrual health, ask questions, and gain the confidence to manage their periods with dignity.

This initiative is part of the Golden Impact Project’s mission to ensure that no girl feels ashamed, uninformed, or unsupported during her menstrual journey.

Meet Martha 🤍

A proud Ghana native and dedicated member of the Hearties Club.

Martha has always had a heart for service. Whether it’s volunteering her time, mentoring young girls, or showing up where she’s needed most, she believes that impact starts with care.

Right now, she is leading our girls’ hygiene initiative, educating young females about menstrual health, proper sanitary care, and self confidence. Very soon, she will be visiting schools across the city, towns, and villages to share the knowledge she has been trained in, ensuring no girl feels ashamed or uninformed about her body.

Here’s why this matters.
In many communities, girls miss school during their menstrual cycle due to lack of access to sanitary pads and proper education. Some eventually fall behind academically, not because they aren’t capable, but because they weren’t supported.

We are changing that.

Through education, access, and open conversations, Hearties Club is creating safe spaces for young girls to grow with dignity.

Some people were shocked. Some were confused, because this is not something they see often. But our work is not about assuming who has and who doesn’t. Sometimes it’s simply about giving back to people who are clearly trying their best.

Everyone deserves to feel seen, even when we don’t know their story.

They chose the homes themselves, pointing, walking up, knocking softly, and waiting with those innocent smiles… just to hand someone a bag of brown rice and clean water.
